The rooftop
Sun loungers by day, lanterns and the call of the medina by night, with the Atlas on the horizon.

Lanterns, music and a courtyard after dark
Carved cedar ceilings, hand-chiselled plaster and centuries-old zellige frame a handful of suites around a patio where water and light set the rhythm of the day.

Our story
Restored over three years by master artisans, the house keeps the proportions of a nineteenth-century merchant's home: a central patio open to the sky, galleries on two levels and a rooftop that looks across the medina to the Atlas. Every room was rebuilt by hand, with lime, tadelakt and cedar, so that the house feels lived in rather than decorated.

“We stepped through a plain wooden door and into another century. The patio at night, with the fountain and the candles, is something we still talk about.”
Claire & Antoine · Lyon, France
