Forty rooms in a restored nineteenth-century building, a neighbourhood bar on the ground floor and a team who know the city by heart.
Our story
Built around the building, not over it
We kept the azulejo staircase, the high ceilings and the iron balconies, and added what a modern traveller needs: quiet rooms, excellent beds, strong showers and a bar where the city comes to meet. Furniture was made by local workshops; the art on the walls is by artists who live within walking distance.

We have no private parking, but a public car park is two minutes on foot and we can arrange valet parking.
Can we check in early?+
Rooms are ready from 15:00. If your room is free earlier we will give it to you, and you can always leave your luggage with us.
